The UK’s commercial real estate market has been far more resilient in the face of the pandemic than was first feared in March/April 2020 after the introduction of the first Covid-19 lockdown.
All Property capital values fell just 6.6% between February and October 2020 (Source: MSCI), which marked the bottom of the pandemic cycle. Since October, All Property capital values have recovered 4.2% although values still remain 2.7% below pre-pandemic levels.
