“The prime end of the market has become very competitive,” he explains. “In light of global economic and market forces the UK has been seen, by many, as a safe haven for investment, particularly for the quality income streams offered at the prime end of our markets” When setting strategies for long-term investors with long-term horizons capital preservation is a vital element of Cluttons Investment Management strategic thinking. Any investment considered must offer a manageable level of risk particularly in relation to maximising income return and minimising voids.
